Hope fades as Delhi braces for two rainless days, laments IMD.

Sadly, Delhi won’t see any rain in the next two days, as told by the India Meteorological Department on Thursday. The scorching heat persisted, with the maximum temperature reaching 38.4 degrees Celsius, three notches above the usual. Nights offered no relief, as the minimum temperature settled at a warm 27.6 degrees Celsius. The air felt heavy, with the relative humidity at 54 per cent by 5.30 pm, as mentioned in the bulletin. Though the Air Quality Index seemed satisfactory with a reading of 93, according to the Central Pollution Control Board, it’s a grim reality as pollution continues to plague the city.
