Saturday morning brought heavy rain to parts of Delhi, Noida, and Gurugram. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted light to moderate rainfall for the national capital. The forecast also included thunderstorms with light to moderate rain in various areas including Delhi, NCR, Ghaziabad, Noida, Dadri, and Gurugram.

Expect a generally cloudy sky and moderate rain throughout the day in Delhi. Saturday’s maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 34 and 26 degrees Celsius, respectively.

An IMD official informed news agency PTI about the possibility of moderate rain and thundershowers in the city.

Yesterday, several areas in Delhi experienced rainfall and overcast skies. The maximum temperature settled at 34.3 degrees Celsius, one notch below normal, with a recorded minimum temperature of 26.6 degrees Celsius. The humidity level ranged from 90 to 72 percent.

As of Friday morning, Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) stood at 71, falling under the ‘satisfactory’ category according to SAFAR data.
