This tragic event unfolded with as many as nine Indian Army personnel tragically losing their lives, while another soldier sustained injuries as their vehicle met with the unfortunate mishap in Ladakh.

Amit Shah took to a social media platform, identified as “X” (formerly known as Twitter), to share his sentiments. He wrote, “Deeply saddened by the tragic road accident in Ladakh in which we lost our valiant soldiers, as their vehicle fell into a gorge. The entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the bereaved families in this hour of grief. My sincerest condolences to them. May the injured recover at the earliest.”

Meanwhile, JP Nadda, the national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), also expressed his sorrow and extended his condolences for the loss of the soldiers. On the same social media platform, he wrote, “Deeply pained to hear about the loss of our Army personnel in a tragic road accident near Leh in Ladakh. The nation will forever be in debt for their service. My sincere condolences to the bereaved families. May the Almighty give them strength to bear this pain. According to officials, the accident transpired around 6:30 pm. The soldiers were in transit from the Karu garrison to Kyari near Leh when the unfortunate incident occurred.
