NIT Warangal gears up to host a research conclave, nurturing collaborative innovation.

In a significant development, the National Institute of Technology (NIT) located in Warangal is preparing to host an upcoming Research Conclave that is set to bring together Deans responsible for Research and Development from various NITs spread across the entirety of the nation. This announcement was made by Professor Bidyadhar Subudhi, the esteemed Director of NIT Warangal, during a recent gathering held in Hanamkonda.

To pave the way for this impending conclave, a preliminary workshop named “The first RAC Meeting” was organized. In this session, a specialized Research Advisory Committee (RAC) was officially formed. The composition of this committee consists of seven highly accomplished academicians, all of whom possess a distinguished reputation on a national scale. Among the notable members are Dr. Tata Narasinga Rao, the Director of ARCI-Hyderabad; Professor Amit Prashant from IIT-Gandhi Nagar; Dr. Ramanuj Narayan, Director of IMMT in Bhubaneswar; Professor M Chandrasekhar, Director of IIM-Visakhapatnam; Professor Santosh Dwivedi from IIT Guwahati; Professor Sudip Misra from IIT-Kharagpur; and Professor Vivek Agarwal from IIT Bombay.

The event served as a platform for department heads to deliver insightful presentations regarding the ongoing research initiatives within their respective departments. This opportunity allowed for a comprehensive understanding of the various directions in which research is being pursued across different disciplines.

In essence, the NIT Warangal Research Conclave holds the promise of fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange among the leading minds in Research and Development from various NITs across the country.
