The low-pressure system over Western Bengaluru Karnataka is located at an altitude of 3.1 kilometers above sea level. Simultaneously, westerly winds are bringing moisture from the western direction towards Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, leading to a rainfall forecast in these states. In the next 24 hours, Telangana is expected to experience heavy rainfall, while Andhra Pradesh will receive normal rainfall.

A heavy rainfall warning has been issued for Telangana for the next 5 days. Alerts and orange warnings have been issued for some districts. Significant rainfall has been reported in Sangareddy, Medak, Peddapalli, Warangal, Bhupalpally, and Nizamabad districts, accompanied by thunderstorms. These heavy rains are also accompanied by strong winds. This situation is expected to continue until the 14th of this month in Telangana.

In addition, coastal Andhra Pradesh is also likely to experience heavy rainfall until the 14th of this month, as per the weather department’s advisory. In the Bay of Bengal, the surface circulation is expected to become insignificant by September 12th.
