While light to moderate rains and thundershowers are expected across the entire Telangana region, the IMD noted the presence of a low-pressure system that has dissipated, particularly in the northeastern part of the Bay of Bengal. This low-pressure area has transformed into an upper air circulation, extending from Jharkhand to Telangana, spanning across the Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh regions up to 1.5 kilometers above mean sea level. This meteorological phenomenon is the driving force behind the anticipated rainfall throughout Telangana, as explained by Sravani, a scientist at IMD Hyderabad.

Sravani further elaborated, “On 25 September, there is expected to be a monsoon withdrawal over Rajasthan, leading to rain showers in the following week. Hyderabad can expect cloudy conditions and rain from night until morning. Intense spells of rain are expected, with light to moderate rains and thundershowers forecasted for tomorrow in Hyderabad.” The scientist also indicated that light showers are anticipated on the evening of September 28, which is the final day of Ganesh Idol immersion in Hyderabad.
