Some BRS leaders, unhappy with the denial of party tickets and unwilling to remain as secondary leaders, have already left the party, while others are mobilizing their supporters to revolt against the MLAs in their respective constituencies.

In the Warangal East Assembly segment, 14 out of 22 ruling party corporators held a secret meeting to express their opposition to the renomination of MLA Nannapuneni Narendar. They cited a lack of developmental work in their divisions, alleged false cases filed against them by the MLA, and claimed that the party’s image was suffering due to his actions. These corporators have passed a resolution against the MLA and plan to escalate the matter to the party leadership’s attention.

In Peddapalli district, the BRS faced departures from its leadership, including senior leader Nalla Manohar Reddy, former MLA Birudu Rajamallu, and former municipal chairman Rajaiah, who joined Congress. Additionally, BRS councillor Kolipaka Srinivas from the Mudiraj community switched to the BJP.

In the Manthani Assembly segment, PACS single window chairman Challa Narayana Reddy is opposing the candidature of ZP chairperson Putta Madhukar and plans to contest against him in the elections.

Furthermore, Palakurthy ZPTC member K. Sandhya Rani has decided to run as a rebel candidate against Ramagundam MLA Korakanti Chander Patel from the party.
