The political rivalry between the Congress and AIMIM in Telangana has intensified, with both parties vying for dominance in the forthcoming state’s Assembly elections, scheduled later in the year. Rahul Gandhi had earlier alleged that the BJP, Bharat Rashtra Samithi, and AIMIM were collaborating in Telangana, framing the Congress as the sole challenger against this coalition.

Furthermore, Rahul Gandhi asserted that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi faced no CBI-ED cases because Prime Minister Narendra Modi considered them “his own people.”

As the Telangana Assembly polls approach, all political parties are vigorously campaigning, with the ruling BRS announcing its candidate list and the Congress presenting its “six guarantees” to the electorate as promises to be fulfilled if they gain power in the state.
