In preparation for the assembly polls, he made two significant announcements: the establishment of a National Turmeric Board and a Central Tribal University in the state. He began his speech in Telugu, addressing the people as his family (Naa Kutumba Sabhyulara), emphasizing BJP’s commitment to Telangana and its support for farmers. Modi criticized the governing BRS, AIMIM, and Congress as “family-run” political parties, accusing them of nepotism and corruption.

He specifically criticized the BRS for failing to fulfill promises, leading to farmer suicides. Modi contrasted his leadership with Congress’s election guarantees, positioning himself as the guarantee for Telangana’s people, especially women. Agriculture featured prominently in his speech, with Modi highlighting the significant increase in paddy procurement funding during his tenure and the reservation for women in legislatures brought about by the BJP.
