According to officials from the South Central Railway, this extension to Kazipet will necessitate a route adjustment, rerouting the trains to pass through Secunderabad Railway Station instead of Hyderabad.

As part of these modifications, the timings for the train service, specifically train number 17013 / 17014, which operates between Pune (Hadapsar) and Kazipet via Secunderabad, will be adjusted. Notably, the departure time for train number 17014, running from Hyderabad to Pune (Hadapsar), will now be revised to 6:15 pm instead of the previous 6:00 pm departure time.

This change in route and schedule aims to enhance the connectivity and convenience for passengers traveling on this route, particularly benefiting those traveling to and from Kazipet.
