Naini accuses KCR of betraying the people of Warangal.

In Warangal, Congress Warangal West candidate Naini Rajender Reddy criticized the ruling BRS and BJP on Monday, asserting that both parties failed to fulfill their promises to the people. While campaigning in Hanumakonda, Naini accused both the BRS and BJP of undermining democracy by not delivering on their election manifestos.

He specifically pointed out that the BRS government neglected the core principles of the separate Telangana agitation, namely ‘Neellu, Nidhulu, and Niyamakalu’ (water, funds, and employment). Naini argued that since the establishment of a separate state, only KCR and his family members benefited, leading to the depletion of resources and pushing the surplus state into a debt trap.

Highlighting unfulfilled promises made by KCR nine years ago during his visit to Warangal, Naini emphasized that development commitments, such as making Warangal comparable to Washington, remained unmet. Additionally, the promise of providing double bedroom houses to the poor was not realized, and those that were constructed are reportedly in poor condition.

Naini accused BRS leaders of prioritizing land grabbing and settlements over addressing the genuine issues faced by the people. He called on the government to release a white paper detailing the utilization of the Rs 300 per annum special developmental funds promised to Warangal.
