In Hyderabad, on Thursday morning, the city experienced a sudden downpour, signaling the commencement of the first Northwest Monsoon rain post-winter onset. The day began with cloudy skies and mist, gradually evolving into a refreshing rainfall that surprised many residents. Until 10 am, numerous areas in the city documented varying amounts of precipitation, offering a welcome reprieve from the preceding dry spell. Balanagar led the tally with 4 mm of rainfall, closely trailed by Moulali at 4 mm, Rajendranagar at 3.5 mm, and Gachibowli at 2.5 mm.

Light showers extended their presence to various sections of the city, encompassing Saroornagar, Cherlapalli, Sivarampalle, Quthbullahpur, and Khairatabad.
