The video showcased glimpses of his bilateral meetings, interactions with global leaders, and his summit speech, emphasizing the collective contribution of all nations in the fight against climate change during the COP28 World Climate Action Summit.

The footage depicted PM Modi engaging with numerous world leaders on the sidelines of the COP28 summit in Dubai, shaking hands and fostering connections. Expressing gratitude, he wrote, “Thank you, Dubai! It’s been a productive #COP28 Summit. Let’s all keep working together for a better planet.”

During the summit, PM Modi had a significant interaction with King Charles III, recognizing him as a crucial voice in the battle against climate change. In a post on X, PM Modi shared, “Earlier today in Dubai, I had the opportunity to interact with King Charles, who has always been passionate towards environmental conservation and sustainable development. He is an important voice in the fight against climate change. @RoyalFamily.”

Additionally, PM Modi held discussions with the Prime Minister of Vietnam, Pham Minh Chinh, sharing perspectives on various issues. “Met Prime Minister of Vietnam, Mr. Pham Minh Chinh and had a great conversation on various issues,” PM Modi conveyed on X.

Returning to Delhi late Friday night after a significant visit to Dubai, PM Modi concluded his day-long trip following his active participation in the World Climate Action Summit of the COP28. The Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson, Arindam Bagchi, highlighted the visit’s success, stating, “PM’s visit was defined by fruitful engagements with global leaders and path-breaking initiatives for accelerating global climate action.”

Reflecting on the impact of climate change, PM Modi noted during his visit to the UAE that it has had a profound effect on countries in the Global South.
