On Sunday, Revanth Reddy began his day by meeting with the state director general of police, Anjani Kumar, and subsequently embarked on a roadshow towards the party headquarters in the city. According to the latest trends from the Election Commission of India (ECI), Congress leads with 68 seats, followed by BRS with 34, BJP with 10, AIMIM with 5, and CPI leading on 1 seat.

Revanth Reddy is comfortably leading from the Kodangal and Kamareddy seats. During his roadshow, a massive gathering cheered and waved party flags in enthusiastic support. Earlier that day, Telangana DGP Anjani Kumar and other police officials met with Revanth Reddy at his residence in Hyderabad.

The Congress office in Hyderabad witnessed revelry and jubilation as the party comfortably crossed the halfway mark, with members chanting “Bye bye KCR” in celebration. Congress workers expressed their joy by pouring milk on a poster featuring Congress Parliamentary Party chairperson Sonia Gandhi, party MP Rahul Gandhi, and state party chief Revanth Reddy.

The polls in Telangana took place on November 30. In the 2018 elections, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (then known as BRS) secured victory in 88 out of 119 seats, with a 47.4 percent vote share, while the Congress came in a distant second with 19 seats.
