In a noteworthy move, Revanth’s first action after taking the oath was to order the removal of fencing around the Chief Minister’s residence, which had caused continuous traffic jams, reflecting a symbolic message of openness to the public, referred to as the ‘Prajala’ government in Telangana.

The swearing-in ceremony of Revanth Reddy, as the second Chief Minister of Telangana, took place at LB Stadium amidst the presence of prominent leaders. The Governor of Telangana, Tamilisai Soundararajan, administered the oath to Revanth Reddy and other ministers. The ceremony was attended by former Telangana Congress President N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, former CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, former minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, and former Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha.

In the recent assembly elections, the Congress, under the leadership of Revanth Reddy, secured victory in 64 out of 119 seats, defeating the ruling Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and leading to Revanth’s elevation as the Chief Minister of Telangana.
